This art cart is a piece of furniture designed to be used by teachers and students in Brazilian public schools. It has wheels which enable it to be used in various spaces throughout the school. In addition to that, it has a sliding table, 2 drawers and removable boxes and trays where art materials can be stored and easily accessed by 4- to 5-year-old students.
It also has a place to store sheets of paper, a light box, and an acrylic panel on its side - these tools are used in early childhood education and could stimulate poetic languages and child development.
By transporting it through the various spaces in the school, multidisciplinary practices are possible, valuing the culture of the atelier in order to provide significant and memorable learning for children in early childhood education in the Brazilian public context.
